| Album Info: | America Latina Logistica (ALL) was created in 1999 after Brazil had privatized the national railroad system RFFSA in 1997. Starting off the railroads in the 3 southern Brazilian states, ALL has later expanded to become South Americas largest private railroad with +20.000 km roads in southern - mid Brazil and Argentina.
ALL has traditionally purchased only second hand locomotives primarily from the US, but also from SAR Africa and one of the latest acquirements in 2008 was a large batch of used SD-40s from primarily Canadian CP and the US SP. ALL has today an interesting fleet of rather vintage GM/EMD and GE diesels from the 60-80ties. |
